SCOIR is a valuable college and career planning platform that will help students explore colleges, discover opportunities, and navigate the college search and application process. Building on CLASSICAL’s strong academic foundation, SCOIR provides resources that will guide students in exploring interests, identifying strengths, and discerning the next steps in their educational journey.
What Is SCOIR?

All high school students and their parents will be given access to SCOIR beginning in late fall of 9th grade. SCOIR is our college and career readiness platform that will become increasingly important as students get closer to graduation. Students will find this site to be a wealth of information even as early as 9th grade.
SCOIR Isn't Just For Students Who Plan to Attend A Four-Year College or University
The site will allow students to:
- Take Career Interest Assessments – beginning in 9th grade
- Explore PrinciplesYou – beginning in 10th grade
- Generate a resume by recording all activities, leadership, service, and part-time jobs. This feature is particularly useful, even if college is not a student’s first goal.
- Build a personalized college interest list and take virtual campus tours- by following colleges, this allows the OCCR to get a better idea of which admissions representatives to invite to CLASSICAL
- Share transcripts and letters of recommendation
- Compare college costs and financial aid
- Connect with the Common App for college applications
