Careers

Thank you for your interest in career opportunities at Cincinnati Classical Academy. For 2024-25, we will be expanding to serve 750 students in grades K-8. We will continue to add a grade level each year until grades K-12 are served.

Teachers are the most important part of Hillsdale classical schools like Cincinnati Classical Academy. Our teachers are answering the high calling of imparting civilization—language, knowledge, and virtue—to the next generation.

At Cincinnati Classical Academy, teachers craft their own lessons, and they are given the authority and respect to manage their classrooms. They are supported by school leaders and fellow teachers on our campus and beyond. Together, teachers at CLASSICAL seek to improve their craft and share in a community of academic discipline, knowledge, and wonder.

Teachers - What Are We Looking For?

Classical education requires teachers who are trained in academic disciplines (literature, history, sciences, mathematics, music etc.) and not just in elementary or secondary education. Naturally, classical school teachers love to spend time with children, they are kindhearted, and they know how to manage a classroom, but they should also have the ability and desire to shape the character of their students through a clear teaching of moral virtue. Our vision at Cincinnati Classical Academy is to maintain a faculty that is academically gifted and in full pursuit of intellectual interests because these habits tend to positively influence students who are by nature looking for intellectual and moral leaders to follow.
