US Math Teacher

Mr. Capelli was born and raised in La Crosse, WI on the banks of the Mississippi River. He attended Aquinas High School, where he played tennis and basketball among other extracurriculars, and he graduated top of his class. At Hillsdale, his early studies in chemistry and biology fostered an appreciation for the importance of mathematics, and he eventually decided to make it his primary focus. He believes that teaching math begins with fostering a creative ability to apply principles, and he seeks to instill that in his students. Through demonstrable visual tools and actively engaging lectures, he hopes to inspire an appreciation of and curiosity for the abstraction that is mathematics.
