Mr. Benjamin Popson
Upper School Humanities Teacher
- Bachelor of Arts (Catholic Studies with a minor in Mathematics ❘ Marian University)
- Master of Arts (English Literature ❘ Texas Tech University)
Mr. Popson hails from Southern Indiana, from a large and passionate family. As an undergraduate student, he studied Ancient and Medieval Philosophy, Latin, and Ancient Greek. As a graduate student, he specialized in Middle English Literature, writing his master’s thesis on the fourteenth-century poem, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Having taught and tutored students from 5th to 12th grade for many years, Mr. Popson is excited to join the faculty at CLASSICAL where he hopes to share his love of teaching and his passion for good literature. Outside of school, Mr. Popson enjoys spending time with his wife, playing music, learning languages, and reading (perhaps a bit too much).
