The CLASSICAL Volleyball teams played their first matches of the season last week starting on August 18 with a matchup against DePaul Christo Rey. It was the first home game for the girls volleyball team in the new gym, and they opened it up with a bang. The two girls teams combined to win every set that night in front of a large and spirited crowd.
The JV team played again on Tuesday, August 25 against Middletown Christian and picked up another big win. The girls also took part in the Trailblazers Volleyball Tournament on the weekend of August 22, where they went 1-3 but were able to pick up a nice win against the CHESS Volleyball Club.
After a strong start to the year, the girls have a record of 3-3 and faced off against St. Ursula on September 1 away from home court.
