Mrs. Anna Little

Mrs. Anna Little is a lifelong Cincinnatian who grew up in a large musical family, performing and acting from the tender age of eight. Mrs. Little attended Northern Kentucky University as a vocal performance major, where she was an active member of the NKU Chamber Choir and Vocal Jazz Ensemble with whom she competed in Varna, Bulgaria. During her time at NKU she was a finalist in the Kentucky NATS Competition, and participated in the Kentucky Institute for International Studies summer program in Salzburg, Austria, where she studied opera, music history, and form and analysis. A mezzo-soprano, she has performed with Cincinnati Chamber Opera, Queen City Chamber Opera, Cantigium Vocal Ensemble, and was a staff singer for St. Peter-in-Chains Cathedral. In addition to music, she is also a lifelong lover of theatre; she was the 2009 winner of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Competition with the English Speaking Union, going on to represent Cincinnati in the semi-finals in New York City. Mrs. Little has also taught theatre to Indiana Homeschoolers. Prior to Cincinnati Classical Academy, she was a high school choir director and teacher in Northern Kentucky for eight years. Mrs. Little is currently a member of The Oratory Singers at Old St. Mary’s in Over-the-Rhine, as well as the Vocal Coach and Assistant Conductor of Laudate Pueri Children’s Schola in Cincinnati. Outside of school, Mrs. Little enjoys spending time with her four lovely children and eating her Husband’s fresh-baked bread and delicious cooking.
