Ms. Lily Woeste
Sixth Grade Teacher
Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in French | Grove City College
Miss Woeste, born and raised in Cincinnati, spent her childhood reading and listening to novels about determined heroes, deceptive villains, and good’s triumph over evil. The classical education she received provided her with many tales of virtue and valor both in ordinary and in extraordinary circumstances. As a high school student, she developed a firm belief that one should consume classic literature in order to discover time-tested knowledge about the true, the good, and the beautiful. Her college professors continued to encourage her search for virtue and truth in the works of Dickens, Tolstoy, Twain, and many others. After college, Miss Woeste continued to share her love for learning as an English teacher, as a language assistant in France, and as an instructional aide. Miss Woeste anticipates spending as much of her life as possible in encouraging others to hone their moral senses by reading classic literature.
