Ms. Maya Goode

Third Grade Teacher

Miss Goode grew up in Brookfield, Connecticut. She attended a Waldorf School from first
through eighth grade, where she became inspired to become a teacher herself. Miss Goode
graduated from Hillsdale College with a major in History and a minor in Art. At Hillsdale
College, she especially appreciated her professor’s commitment to the use of primary
sources and their dedication to the pursuit of truth. Her favorite class at Hillsdale College
was a course on St. Augustine. Miss Goode has enjoyed working with children throughout
her high school and college careers. She has taught private violin lessons for eight years
and has been a tennis coach for four years. She has also been a volunteer at the Mary
Randall Preschool and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Miss Goode is very excited to be
joining Cincinnati Classical Academy this year and looks forward to teaching third grade.
