Mrs. Andrea Draeger

Intervention Specialist

  • Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology | University of Cincinnati)
  • Bachelor of Arts (Special Education | University of Cincinnati)
  • Minor (Spanish | University of Cincinnati)
Ms. Draeger is a Cincinnati native who is passionate about making Classical education accessible to all students. During her undergrad, Ms. Draeger studied anthropology and Spanish, where she developed a deep understanding of how culture curates who we are. Upon graduation, she moved to Michigan and worked in a small beach down as a special education aide. Ms. Draeger returned to Cincinnati a few years later, where she began working as an elementary school librarian and continued supporting students with special needs. Her passion for literature, especially classic fairy tales (she still believes in 398.2), grew as she worked to cultivate a love of literacy for students of all backgrounds. Ms. Draeger returned to the University of Cincinnati during this time to attain her degree in special education, with a license in mild-moderate and moderate-intense disabilities. While at UC, Ms. Draeger established a mentor tutoring program at her elementary school, bringing in teaching students to provide additional support to students in need. She collaborated on a research project, highlighting the benefits of student-teacher intervention in low-income areas, as well as participated in research about the unique ways students with learning disabilities process mathematical information. Post graduation, Ms. Draeger has taught a variety of grade-levels from 2nd-8th grade. She leads with compassion, perseverance, and a mission to foster a love of learning in each of her students.
