Before joining CLASSICAL, Mr. Barnett received his Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilizations from the University of Cincinnati where he was a Semple Scholar in Latin and participated in the Tharros Archaeological Research Project in Sardinia, Italy. Mr. Barnett went on to receive his Master of Arts in Classics from the University of Illinois where he studied Latin and Roman history as an Illinois Distinguished Fellow. He has also presented at conferences such as the Society for Classical Studies and the Classical Association of the Middle, West, and South on topics ranging from Tacitus’ Histories to Cicero’s De Consulatu Suo. A Cincinnati native, Mr. Barnett looks forward to teaching the integral values of a classical education in a city he calls home. Outside of school, Mr. Barnett enjoys traveling, writing, and learning new languages.
